We are working with a global player in the life sciences space known for delivering cutting edge medical and healthcare solutions to its customers, with revenues of in excess of $15B and over 40,000 employees. With the need to navigate the storm of digital and technological disruption, the global Technology organization is of strategic importance to the company. Technology has always provided the foundation for keeping the company running effectively and efficiently, but in this new paradigm the role has expanded. The group have an urgent mandate to act as the organisation’s headlights, showing the way forward to winning in a digitising world. We are seeking a strategic HR leader who can partner with the organization to drive the transformation agenda.
Reporting directly to the Chief Technology & Digital Officer, the HR Business Leader Tech and Digital will support a global team of more than 3000 employees. This person will lead the design and delivery of the people agenda for Tech and Digital, providing HR leadership to all directorates within the Global Tech Organisation. This person will provide change expertise by partnering with the business and leading a large-scale change agenda to transform and modernize the Tech capability of the organization. From a talent management perspective, this person will work with leaders to develop bench strength at all levels of the organization. They will lead the workforce and strategic capability planning in the Tech organization to ensure future capabilities are identified and developed and then oversee and deliver the major shift in capability mix.
This position will require significant experience championing change across international and functional boundaries, winning buy-in at the top and driving it against resistance. This person will be able to show demonstrable success leading change programmes that address cultural issues and build organisational capability. In addition, they will have organisational design and development experience, in relation to mergers, acquisitions or other significant organisational change. With a strong EQ, he or she will have experience operating in an international, world-class global company, working across different countries and cultures with a diverse range of populations. This individual will have strong tech and digital acumen, gained from their experience supporting a complex global tech organization. He or she will be a strategic thinker, but equally able to dive into the details when needed and will be customer-oriented, focused on delivering best-in-class solutions to the business.
