This role directly manages a team of 6-7 HR members and will help drive growth through a company specific organisation development strategy and a robust talent acquisition program. While driving sales growth, the HR Director will be expected to drive HR initiatives that offer the company’s leaders people-solutions and options that are both creative and enabling of success. Global HR programs need to be understood and championed locally to add value to an already strong culture of ‘people first’. This should then drive this unique company culture which is critical for employess in Japan.
5+ years in HR Business Partner position or a leader of HR as a manager or director of an international company. Solid English required with an agility to balance overseas reporting lines and stakeholders. Local HR knowledge and a capability to lead and develop an HR team will be a key to success.
