The company is in growth mode both organically and through acquisition. We are representing a leading industrial company with operations across the USA in their search to recruit a Head of Compensation to join their team. The company is in growth mode both organically and through acquisition.

The Role

The Head of Compensation reports to the CHRO and will be responsible for all aspects of compensation including broad based and executive compensation. This person will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, the Compensation Committee and external consultants. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the compensation strategy supports the overarching business and HR strategy. A core focus will be on aligning compensation to rewarding for performance.  

The Individual

Qualified candidates will have experience working in broad based and executive compensation in an industrial environment. A key requirement is having worked in a US publicly listed organization, as strong knowledge of SEC and US GAAP regulations required. Proven ability to work with HR Business Partners and the Talent CoE to ensure that compensation strategies are supporting company values, rewarding for performance and supporting the business to ensure the company is market competitive to attract the best talent. Our client is also looking for someone with strong leadership and superior stakeholder management skills, ideally with experience working in a unionized environment.
