The Company

Our client is a global, market leading organisation in the technology, logistic and parcel/postage sector. With a strong track record and significant expansion across their three major business units, the organisation strives for the continuous improvement of their operational activities and the expansion of their logistical achievements. The company is growing rapidly and plans to double in size over the next five years. This role will be based in the Greater London region.

The Role

This is a hybrid role combining two key areas of coverage. The main priority will be as Global Head of HR for a major business unit, the second area of focus will be as Head of HR for the EMEA region across all three business units. Reporting into the CHRO and sitting on the HR Leadership team, your main challenge will be to drive the people strategy and build local capability as the business goes through significant growth and internationalisation. The role will also provide functional leadership to Country HR leaders across Europe. In this highly visible role you will engage closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing strategic direction whilst having a hands on approach when needed. Leadership, talent management, succession planning and diversity are key in this fast-past and evolving environment.  

The Individual

Candidates will have 12+ years’ HR Business Partner experience in an international organisation known for their HR expertise and capability. Broad based experience gained within a diverse industry set will be essential. Ideally candidates will have worked in a range of different sized international organisations, combining knowledge gained in large, blue chip, mature HR environments as well as proven experience building out a best practice HR function in a smaller, leaner and evolving organisation. You will thrive in fast-paced, matrix organisations and be able to build credibility with senior stakeholders across different geographies and cultures. Whilst you will be comfortable operating at the most strategic level, driving the people agenda from the top down, you will also have a practical and hands-on approach and will not be afraid to ‘roll your sleeves up’ when required. Above all, you will have the energy, passion and enthusiasm to drive change and truly add value to a global organisation embarking on an exciting journey of growth and transformation.
