A multinational leader in luxury consumer goods and globally headquartered in Western Europe, our client is embarking on a major global restructuring. Very much an icon in its product area, the business aims to globalise even further and significant transformation is afoot. Since its foundation, the company sees significant potential in the emerging market territories which include parts of Asia, Middle East and LatAm.
To be based in Copenhagen, an HR Directorship position has opened up for a seasoned and commercially minded HR leader to support a significant and growing employee population. Very much a turnaround style position, the role will require a blend of strong strategic and operational skills. An ability to work closely with the digital business is important, as well as an ability to create followship with the Commercial Director. You will be a pivotal member of the leadership team and will need to work with a growing number of demanding stakeholders across the HQ and regions.
At least 15 years of high-level business partnering or corporate HRD expertise is required, as well as an understanding of the changing nuances of consumer or technology industries. An ability to build credibility with demanding stakeholders makes this a role for the commercially astute and business savvy. The individual needs to balance an understanding of the commercials of a business as well as the human element of keeping peers and colleagues super motivated.
