The Company

ChapmanCG is working closely with the Leadership Pipeline Institute (LPI), a leading global provider of leadership and performance solutions. The Leadership Pipeline concept has been one of the most influential leadership models over the last two decades. A number of Fortune 500 companies have successfully implemented the Leadership Pipeline concept for selecting, growing, and assessing leaders at all levels. The business has grown by 400% over the past five years. The company is dual headquartered in the United States and Europe, with regional hubs across the world. LPI is the preferred partner for organizations wanting to strengthen their leadership and specialist pipelines including the design of succession and talent planning processes and the mobilization of leaders for major business-critical transformation projects. LPI has a team of highly qualified, multicultural, and multilingual consultants around the world to support global clients. We are proud to help further develop this network of consultants by offering US-based HR talent the opportunity to be part of this incredible journey in the role of Partner.

The Role

The Partner (US) will be responsible for helping build LPI’s business across the United States. In addition, this role will be the product owner across North America for the Specialist Pipeline solutions and have deep interest in supporting the concept globally. Reporting to the CEO, a key part of this role is to attract and support clients and assist them in implementing the Leadership and Specialist Pipeline concept into their organization’s way of developing, assessing, and selecting leaders and specialists. Please note that there is a heavy business development component to this role. The company has a high client retention rate, with the vast majority regularly returning. This role will both expand existing business and generate new business. With a broad portfolio of existing clients, this position will help to deepen and expand relationships with current client organizations as well as generating new business through their own connections. The key ‘audience’ for this offering are heads of Leadership Development, Talent Management and OD in major US markets. The ‘sweet spot’ of clients is mid-size companies; however, very large companies are also an important and significant part of LPI’s portfolio. The individual will partner closely with both the existing LPI US team and with LPI’s international organization and will play a key role in the continuous growth and branding of LPI US. The role will also serve as a consultant for clients on an ongoing basis and help to facilitate leadership development programs. This position could be managed out of any location in the US, giving great flexibility for the right individual.

The Individual

To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess significant HR leadership experience, preferably gained in Leadership Development and Talent Management/OD roles in a corporate environment. Prior Consulting industry experience would be a plus, provided you also have deep corporate experience. We are looking for someone who has developed a strong and active long-term network of HR and Talent Management professionals. You should also be able to demonstrate and articulate a solid understanding of how a strong HR/Talent function can add value to a business. Other key attributes include a high degree of entrepreneurial spirit, an engaging personality, and a hands-on approach to getting things done. Executive presence and strong facilitation skills are essential to be able to support consulting services at the levels required.
