Our client is consistently evolving and is seeking a strategic human resources leader for one of their operating companies to ensure all initiatives are aligned with business goals. Reporting to the President, the VP of Human Resources is responsible for all aspects of the HR function for the business. The Vice President of Human Resources will manage a geographically dispersed team. This person will identify and drive improvements in organizational efficiency and effectiveness, and challenge conventional business thinking. She/he will collaborate with the President and senior leadership to develop the strategic direction of human resources and ensure all initiatives are aligned with business goals. This role has overall responsibility for leading and managing talent acquisition, performance management, organizational and management development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, policy development and legal compliance.
Qualified candidates will have HR leadership experience, with a global manufacturing organization. They will have business partner experience supporting a P&L leader. They will be experienced in influencing executives by providing insights that lead to key decision making with the business leaders. They will be experienced in formulating policies and developing and implementing the HR strategy. In addition, they will have well developed analytical skills and strong business acumen. This person will have M&A experience, including due diligence and proven success in post-integration management.
