Its prominence in the global financial services marketplace enables its investment teams to have access to the some of the most lucrative funds in the world. As the organization continues to evolve, a key need has arisen for a senior HR leader to help support and execute the HR strategy across both investment and non-investment activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR leader, with significant experience in the US, who is excited by the prospect of an international opportunity and a chance to build best-in-class HR practices which will elevate an entire organization.
Reporting to the HR Director, the Senior HR Advisor will play a key role in anchoring the human capital strategy across the organization, continuing to elevate the importance of the Human Resources function as a strategic business partner. S/he will provide support on the full spectrum of HR matters across talent management, talent acquisition, employee and leadership development and total rewards. In addition, this person will lead and manage key projects pertaining to employee development and engagement programs to drive performance. Of particular importance will be to take responsibility to coach and mentor executives, high-potentials and critical talent at all levels across the organization. The Senior HR Advisor will collaborate with business segment leaders to analyze current business structures and advise where changes can be made to processes and the utilization of resources to drive greater efficiencies and productivity. S/he will work closely with Executives and the HR team to provide counsel on key people and culture programs, often influencing without direct control to achieve key business and talent goals. Furthermore, s/he will also advise and recommend on the use of effective technology platforms and services which will help optimize the HR function in its support of the organization.
There is a strong preference for a seasoned HR leader who has gained upward of 25 years’ experience within a US headquartered Asset Management or broader Financial Services firm. A deep knowledge of industry market factors which impact company and individual performance is essential. The person we are seeking shall possess a broad HR toolkit with expertise in organizational development and effectiveness, HR strategy, and talent and rewards. S/he will be data and metric driven and demonstrate success in defining and using performance metrics to drive engagement and productivity. As a senior member of the leadership team, first-rate stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to operate in a fast-paced and intellectually demanding environment. In addition, the chosen person shall demonstrate a passion for people development and possess the required attributes and behaviors to successfully drive change.
