The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the Learning Director is a crucial role for the organisation as it takes on a real business partner/advisory approach to all sub businesses and markets. The Learning Director manages the design and content behind the company’s L&D effort: resources, workshops, and programs, and works closely with the leadership team to balance internal-facing management and resource creation with outward-facing efforts and partnerships. Additionally, the Learning Director will be responsible for strategically positioning the company’s offerings, ensuring that they are the right mix of content, approach and support to successfully meet the needs of its employees.
The Individual
The successful candidate has strong and effective communication skills whether online, in-person or in front of large audiences or senior leadership team as well as demonstrated experience in influencing an audience from local to regional level. In addition to a solid HR leadership background and proven success in managing projects and teams they also need up to date knowledge of the latest trends in learning design, delivery and technology. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will be passionate about the company’s mission and values.
