The Company

Our client is a global leader in the health industry with a solid association with technology. Their global integrated network includes 48 facilities in 13 countries, and their employee population of 3,000 globally consists of 700 scientists, technicians and service specialists. As an industry-leading expert, they continue to grow, develop, and remain committed to eliminating threats to human health worldwide.

The Role

The Director of Human Resources for EMEA & Asia will be responsible for the HR agenda and team across regions reporting into the VP of HR based in the US, who reports to the CHRO. The role will have a dotted line report to VP EMEAA Operations who will be the sparring partner within the business and the EMEAA leadership team. With a team of four direct reports, and six indirect reports, the role will be responsible for over 500 people across 12 sites. There will be a mixture of operational and strategic responsibilities, and this position will need to be able to pivot quickly between these.

The Individual

To be successful in this role, this person will need to have a hands-on approach while being able to influence senior stakeholders within the business. They will need to have experience working across Europe, and knowledge of Asia is preferred but not necessary. Being a strong leader with OD and compensation and benefits experience will be beneficial. Industry experience isn’t required, but having knowledge of unions and works councils may help with business conversations.
