This FMCG styled business serves around 600 million consumers across three different core markets in 30 countries, with a diverse portfolio ensuring some of the world’s biggest brands get to market. As the organisation further develops its new HR function, we are helping them find a Talent expert that can help drive change and further business success through the development of even more leading edge Talent Acquisition strategies. The organisation is very well established, with a high energy, can do, open and direct culture that has been key to its success so far and will continue to ensure the future success of growth across existing and new markets.
The position reports to the Head of Talent and is responsible for the corporate COE on one hand, but also will be very close to the countries and regions where there will be a huge amount of ongoing change and leadership development required, bringing in significant advances to the new structure, whilst delivering on the huge and supportive expectations the business has in terms of getting great talent into the business. There will be a direct team of between 7 and 9 people with a total team size of around 70 people, along with a need for extensive influencing and indirect leadership across the business. Arguably this is one of the most important roles in helping the organisation make the next steps of growth. This role could be located in many countries across Europe including Ireland, the UK, the Netherlands, Greece, Italy or further across the Adriatic coast or Eastern Europe and there is further flexibility for the right person to be anywhere in Europe on the provison there will be extensive travel estimated at around 30%. The role will require excellent facilitation and people skills and the ability to work within a multicultural and rapidly changing environment.
The individual we are seeking will have a strong track record of success in innovative, high growth and international enviornments and have had to have led a TA COE successfully. Strong stakeholder management and business acumen will be important. We are looking for a pragmatic and practical individual who can apply ‘commonsense’ as opposed to heavy theory, in line with the markets covered. Strong international experience in a mature matrix growth environment would be desirable. Most importantly someone that is comfortable with a ‘say it, as it is’ and ‘want to win and succeed’ culture and work ethic.
