The Company

ChapmanCG is representing a multinational company in the logistics industry that is looking to hire this critical role in Shanghai, China. This is a well-known organisation which is growing fast globally as well as in the region.

The Role

Based in Shanghai, this role will lead the people and culture agenda for Greater China across different business units and function groups. It will be play a critical leadership role within the organisation in driving transformation and continuously scaling up the business. The business is undergoing significant changes and growth, so a true HR leader with strong business acumen and leadership capability is needed. It is also a highly matrix organisation that requires someone with strong influencing and stakeholder management capability. The successful role-holder will be highly visible within the organisation, both locally and internationally.  

The Individual

We would like to engage with progressive and commercial HR business partners/leaders, with proven expertise in scaling an organisation. You will be a credible, agile and astute professional, regarded as a true trusted advisor to your leadership peer group. This role requires a future-focused HR expert, passionate about talent, culture, and customers. Experience in transformation and change management will be important, as well as strong business acumen. You need to be bi-lingual in Mandarin and English.
