Our client is a global company focused on the research, development, and production of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. With significant portfolio of products and a sizable R&D budget, this company has been one of the leaders of the pharmaceutical industry. As with many companies in this space, change is a common theme and it is no different here. The organization is going through a period of structural change to enable it to thrive in the new marketplace and sharpen its services to the end customer. This role will be based in New Jersey.
Partnering closely with the leadership of the commercial organization, this HRBP will work to build organizational capability and talent programs to run a best in class commercial organization. The role will lead the development and implementation of organizational plans and structural improvements to succession planning and talent management processes in order to drive strong business performance while supporting employee development and growth. In addition, this role will lead engagement and employee experience initiatives, and coaching to develop a highly energized and skilled workforce within the commercial organization. Furthermore, this role will closely partner with business leaders and provide guidance and consultation to managers’ employee relations issues. There is also a key requirement that this leader will continue to drive the D&I agenda, championing diversity of thought and experience and identifying talent internally and externally which will add to the bench strength.
We are looking for a strong HR leader that is experienced in building a strong commercial organization through driving end-to-end talent initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle. The person will need to demonstrate a track record of developing and leading processes to plan succession and identify leadership talent in organizations, as well as understand the development and administration of compensation programs to reward talent effectively. In addition, proven experience in the acquisition and development of diverse talent in support of D&I goals is highly preferred. Proficiency with working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments is highly desirable, and the ability to be self-sufficient and to learn quickly is key.
