The Company

One of the leaders in its field, this major global brand operates in over 50 countries, and is consistently rated highly. ChapmanCG have been exclusively engaged to lead the search to identify a new Regional Head of Talent & Development, to be based in Singapore.

The Role

You will be partnering closely with a driven HR Director during a time of growth, change and consolidation. This critical position will see you look after talent management/development and learning for APAC, specifically driving the digital agenda forward. Your remit will include more than 10 countries, with about 4000 employees and a team of four direct reports. Key markets are Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea and Singapore. Working with an existing talent roadmap, the task will be to engage with senior stakeholders and drive this through the business, ensuring the pipeline between country heads is strong.  

The Individual

To be successful in this role, it will be essential that you have in-depth knowledge and a track record of leading a talent function across APAC at this level. Experience in digital learning and knowledge of latest learning technologies would be a significant advantage. In order to excel in this role, you need to be able to navigate effectively and influence stakeholders within a highly complex and fast paced environment. All sectors will be considered, as long as the person has a creative and open mind. You should be open to and and always looking at ways to change, improve and disrupt, so being a risk taker who is resilient would be viewed favourably.
