The Role

Based in Shanghai, this role will be the TA Head, APAC to support the business team in different countries. The company is growing steadily in China with a focus on business optimization. The role will be responsible for TA strategy and execution of the global hiring plan and collaboration with geographies. Developing and leading on hiring strategies to meet overall business talent acquisition goals, this is a high impact role requiring exceptional partner skills with demonstrated ability and experience to develop recruiting strategy, influence stakeholders, and provide insight into talent market to take the best approach, and deliver outcomes.  

The Individual

At least 12 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition and a minimum of 5 years of experience in leading a TA team dispersed in different locations, is required. RPO and agency experience will be a plus. The individual should have a strong business acumen with exceptional partner skills to pose as a true business partner, highly skilled in business engagement and able to coach and influence stakeholders effectively in a consultative manner. As well as profound knowledge and experience to develop business aligned TA strategy, you should have the capability to translate high level strategy into actionable tactics, leading a large workforce to deploy, have a bias in action. This is a client-facing role, so leadership skills to set/manage expectations with senior executives will be needed. A good understanding of workforce strategy, capable to leverage cognitive HR to drive transformation and change and set the right mix of workforce and skills, is required. The individual should be nimble, resilient, persistent, adaptive and an agile leader who is efficient to build trusted relationships with stakeholders. You must be a native Mandarin speaker with good English speaking skills.
