They are seeking a Senior Director, People Systems to be based in Berlin, reporting directly to the VP, Transformation and Change. This strategic leadership role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive People technology strategy and roadmap that aligns with business objectives.

The Role

Reporting directly to the VP, Transformation and Change, Senior Director, People Systems will lead a global team of over 20 professionals, overseeing the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of People systems, with a strong focus on Workday and its associated technologies such as SmartRecruiters and Cloudpay. Key partners include People leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring seamless integration and optimisation of People technology solutions. This role will establish a centralised and reliable data source across the organisation, enhance data accuracy and integrity, and provide strategic insights to improve People & Culture products. It will also oversee vendor relationships, manage budgets and timelines, and represent the function in cross-functional initiatives. As a global leader, the position will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth, ensuring the team delivers high-quality technology services that align with business objectives.

The Individual

You should have at least 12 years of experience in People technology and systems, with a proven track record in leading large, global teams and driving strategic transformation. A strong background in Workday, along with expertise in optimising People processes and aligning technology with business objectives, is essential. You should have experience working in complex, fast-paced environments, managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholder relationships at the senior leadership level. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can translate business needs into effective technology solutions while fostering collaboration across People, IT, and executive teams. Strong leadership, resilience, and the ability to navigate ambiguity are critical, as is a global mindset and experience operating in diverse, multicultural environments.
