The company is at an exciting stage of rapid growth seeing gains of more than 35% yoy. It is a truly international organization with a large presence outside of the United States. As such, a truly global Rewards leader is needed to help continue to drive talent attraction, development, and performance for the organization.
Reporting to the CHRO, the Global Head of Total Rewards will develop, design and implement a progressive compensation and benefits strategy that supports the company’s business and talent acquisition strategies to attract a highly diverse, market-leading, multi-national workforce. This is a critical role carrying high levels of responsibility, influence, visibility, and the potential to significantly impact the bottom-line. Key success factors will be to establish the company Rewards philosophy, driving a pay-for-performance approach and to create competitive compensation philosophies, policies and programs aligned with business needs to engage and motivate employees effectively and efficiently. Furthermore, it will help the HR team to strategically drive the link between performance and Rewards and serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team and leadership, to accurately interpret, counsel, and educate on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations. The leadership team is smart, innovative, and very open to experimenting. This is a learn fast and do some “awesome stuff” environment. The individual we are seeking is a creative thought leader passionate about developing strategic, innovative, and compelling compensation, benefits, and recognition programs worldwide. A diverse company/industry background with time spent in global, best-in-class HR organizations, combined with experience in technology, ideally software, is essential. In addition, experience working in a rapidly growing environment, plus one of scale, is the required mix. Global experience is a ‘must have’. International experience (i.e., living and working internationally), especially in Europe, would be considered a strong plus. Public company experience is a key requirement and so is exposure to interfacing with compensation committees, at minimum participating in and preparing materials, is a prerequisite. With 18+ years on Total Rewards, the Rewards leader will demonstrate a strong analytical thinking/intellect, an ability to communicate complex rewards strategies to all levels of management and excellence in seamless execution. This role would suit an individual looking to make an immediate impact and play a significant role to support the growth of a company which through its innovations in the field of biology could become one of the most important companies in the world.
