Based in Hong Kong, reporting directly to the Chief HR Officer, this strategic and highly visible role will lead a large team and headcount during a high growth and transformative period. This is an important business partnering role working closely with senior stakeholders to support the global business needs and growth strategy. As HR Director for the entire sales and manufacturing population in the market, key focus areas of this role will be recruitment, onboarding, employee experience, employee engagement, industrial relations and health & safety.
This individual must be self-motivated and forward-thinking, have extremely high EQ and be a passionate supporter of change for the advancement of the business. They must have the gravitas to interact with and influence senior stakeholders, and be equally humble and appreciative of the need to understand and validate the existing culture with a sensitive change management strategy. The successful individual will bring significant expertise as an HR generalist and business partner, and be passionate about leading and coaching large teams to be their best. Knowledge of managing factories and dealing with unions will be an advantage. Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is essential, due to the large employee population across the Greater-China region.
