This small but growing organisation is one of the leading companies in their industry and has various branches around Europe. Sitting within the retail and tech space, their recent funding investment and vision to grow the business has allowed them to create a new HR Director role for Germany.
With the potential to be based in a couple of locations within Germany, this role is responsible for building a professional HR function to support a small but diverse population within a high growth business, with an opportunity to influence a majority of the entire organization from the German entity. This role is a business partner to the MD and will help harmonise all HR processes, including but not limited to compensation, HR operations and talent development. Your role will be a major contributor to the profitability of the overall company and be a part of the senior leadership team.
We are looking for an experienced international HR Generalist familiar with working in a multinational environment. Ideally you will have lived and worked abroad or at least within an international capacity, with proven experience in establishing HR functions and creating a cohesive culture of engagement. A background within retail, banking or tech/online industries is an advantage. Due to the German labour law and works council requirements, fluency in German is essential so applications without German language skills will not be assessed.
