This is a global company which has seen a growth in headcount and revenue over the past few years. The HR Business Partner has a dual report to the business leader and the Vice President of HR. As a member of the SVP’s business leadership team, this role will have a seat at the table and an opportunity to strategically support the business from a human capital point of view. It will also enjoy opportunities to partner with, and/or lead, cross-functional teams working on HR projects enterprise-wide. The HR Business Partner will serve as a hands-on leader engaged in all aspects of the function, playing a critical part in the modernization of HR for this 60-year-old company. The HR Business Partner will be data-driven and comfortable utilizing metrics to influence both leadership and line actions.
This well-rounded generalist will have experience implementing and streamlining scalable processes in growing organizations. They will approach HR from a servant leader point of view and will have previously created a culture of engagement that supports increased talent and productivity. As they will be leading a team of two direct reports, prior management experience would be anticipated. This individual will be operating in a union environment, so a background involving labor relations and CBA administration, coupled with talent and performance programming, would be highly desirable.
