The Company

We are representing a global financial services organisation that is expanding its operations and market presence in Australia. This newly created HR Business Partner role will support local leaders and take charge of all HR initiatives and strategies for the Australian business, which currently has a smaller headcount. This role will play also a crucial part in collaborating with a global business unit that has ties back to the New York head office.

The Role

Reporting to the APAC HR Director, the Vice President Human Resources will have full coverage of HR strategy and operational delivery for the growing Australian operations. This includes ensuring compliance and implementing engagement and retention strategies for the local business, as well as driving global initiatives on a local level. The role will form part of a collaborative, highly consultative and high-performing HR Business Partnering function.

The Individual

The role will be responsible for carrying out both operational and strategic tasks. The ability to support local leaders and business requirements while maintaining consistency and alignment with the global people agenda will be essential. Qualified candidates should have experience working in a global or APAC HR function and be comfortable working for a smaller-sized local business. Candidates should also have experience from a high-performing professional or financial services organisation.
