The Company

This global manufacturing company was recently divested and is in the process of establishing a brand-new entity. Headquartered in Asia, this mid-size business with market-leading products across 100 countries is building its corporate and sales operations, as it looks to quadruple business in the next four years. As a result, we are looking for a Head of HR, Global Manufacturing Operations to join their leadership team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CHRO and with a dotted line to the VP Operations, the Head of HR, Global Manufacturing Operations will look after all manufacturing plants and assembly factories globally. With an HR team of 20+, the main task will be to implement best-practice HR strategies and initiatives as the company works towards automating and streamlining existing sites, in addition to building new facilities. This is a global role; however a large focus will be on expanding the company’s presence in the US market.  

The Individual

This role requires an individual with extensive global HR experience in manufacturing operations at a leadership level. It is a highly visible senior leadership role and you will need to be proficient in creating and implementing effective HR strategies while also having the cultural awareness to influence and align with senior executive stakeholders. Given the global nature of this role, you will need to be able to travel extensively, including regular intervals spent in Asia.
