The CHRO is an experienced, highly regarded, and accomplished leader who has worked in large recognizable global firms as well as smaller technology start-ups. She is an inspiring mentor and has been building a best-in-class HR function to future-proof the organization for the challenges ahead. With a deep passion for the power that a truly diverse, equitable and inclusive organization can bring, she is now looking to add a global Head of Diversity & Inclusion to the HR leadership team.

The Role

The Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion will design and drive the diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and programs across the organization. S/he will create and implement a diversity, equity and inclusion framework that will help expand the companies thinking beyond gender diversity and support the company’s cohesive and inclusive values. Partnering closely with senior leaders across the enterprise, the individual will develop tools, guidelines, and solutions to help the organization strengthen a culture that imbeds diversity, equity and inclusion into all business and HR processes. Thus, creating an environment where all employees feel welcome and empowered to do their best work. This leader will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to embolden and coach employees on progressive ways to enhance DEI thinking and action in their teams. In addition, s/he will design and monitor metrics to measure success and build in analytics to identify opportunities for future strategy, programs, and initiatives. In addition to an internal focus on DE&I, there will be an external focus as well, looking at social impact, ensuring the company is giving back to the communities who have supported them in their journey thus far. This is a global role, working across APAC, EMEA and North America and would suit an individual who sees that there is no distinction between the work we do internally and our impact on the eco systems in which we live our daily lives.  

The Individual

The most critical requirement for this job is a sincere passion for championing diversity, equity, and inclusion across a global organization and throughout communities where the company has a presence. Successful candidates will bring 10+ years of experience and a proven track record of designing programs and initiatives that create and allow a truly diverse and inclusive workspace. A strategic and inspiring vision with executive acumen effective relationship building skills are necessary. Demonstrating a working knowledge of blending DE&I with corporate and social responsibility and sustainability strategies will be a distinct advantage. Experience working in a global capacity is essential. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Management, or other field is required, a master’s degree is preferred.
