As part of an ongoing transformation of the business aimed at improving organizational capability, the Global Vice President HR will play a key role in melding a people and culture strategy with business goals.
The Global Vice President HR reports into the President of a $2B business unit and will have end-to-end HR responsibility for multi-site US and international operations. Additionally, the business is looking for a tighter approach to talent and succession planning and to have a clearer view on HIPOs and accelerated learning opportunities across all business units. This role would suit a hands-on HR leader with first-rate stakeholder and leadership influencing skills.
This role requires and experienced leader with a deep and broad toolkit who can bring best-in-class HR practices to an organization which is seeking to improve the relationship and effectiveness of the HR function with business leaders. We are looking for an individual who is hands-on and can pivot between strategic and tactical work. S/he will possess a global mindset and awareness of cultural nuances. To be successful in the role, the individual will demonstrate a proven track record of managing competing demands from stakeholders and delivering in a fast paced and ambiguous environment. Experience navigating complex, matrix environments in the manufacturing or heavy industrial space is preferred as is a deep working knowledge of post-merger integration activities.
