The Company

Our client is a global e-commerce industry leader utilizing innovative mobile commerce technologies to provide best-in-class customer service. As one of the fastest-growing consumer internet companies in the world, our client is undertaking a harmonization of its global talent acquisition function. In order to bring the best talent to the market, the company is looking to hire an experienced Principal Technology Recruiter to lead attraction efforts within highly specialized technologies. This role is in San Francisco, however, there may be some flexibility in supporting a commuting arrangement for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting into the Americas Recruiting Leader, the Principal Technical Recruiter will attract, align and recruit top talents in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Research Science, Data Engineering and Software Engineering. This newly created role will partner with the SVP of Technology, and their Platform leadership team, to expand its footprint within highly innovative technical communities. The Principal Technical Recruiter will serve as the face of this function representing the company at networking events and technical conferences across the country. This individual will assist in mentoring the US recruiting team and help guide their development. As a high-profile team member, they will play a key role in the growth of the technology function supporting company’s e-commerce services and its proprietary software within the logistics space. This individual will also be involved with talent attraction initiatives, from social media to talent branding, in order to market the company as an employer of choice within a competitive Bay Area talent market.  

The Individual

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated success, as a recruiting and business partner, within a technology company. They will have a strong track record demonstrating superior ability to source and attract top talent, assess capability for both technical and interpersonal fit, negotiate offers and seal the deal to deliver well qualified candidates in every assignment. This individual will possess a background steeped in the e-commerce or technology industry, with the ability to adapt easily within an agile environment. They will be a result driven self-starter who takes initiative and consistently delivers results of the highest quality, while maintaining accountability for their work. They will have a sense of urgency allowing them to overcome hurdles and ensure that results are delivered.
