We are pleased to be working with a US based IT start-up, owned by a global private equity fund and employing over 1,000 employees around the world. The organization is rapidly growing in Japan and is forecasted to reach 100 employees by the end of 2020, given the launch of their new product. Their office is located in central Tokyo and this is a new role given the expansion of their business.
The HR Director Japan works in the capacity of both strategy and execution, responsible for the end-to-end HR functions to drive business results. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor for business leaders by driving HR initiatives in alignment with the business objectives. The role includes creating an agile and engaged culture with the underlying philosophy of ‘Employee First’ where employees are inspired to grow and deliver high performance.
10+ years of HR experience with a proven track record of leading a high performing HR function in a fast-paced, ever changing business environment will be required. The individual must have a strong understanding of the value of HR with a demonstrated capability to drive employee engagement and deliver successful change programs whilst having an ability to coach and influence at all levels.
