They are known for placing pride in their contribution to communities. The organisation is entering its next round of development, where its open and direct culture, which has been critical to its success so far, continues to be a focus. Creating a new business located in the Netherlands is the next phase of its already successful growth story.
The HR Director reports to the CEO of the new business on a day-to-day basis and the Head of HR within the group from a functional perspective. This is the number 1 HR role for the new company. This will be a small operation targeted at servicing new funds, numerous portfolios and projects as the growth continues. The role will further support investment, asset development, and portfolio management development and evolution. The HR Director will be responsible for all matters in the HR remit within the portfolio companies. They will play a key role in establishing relevant leadership teams on newly acquired assets, with subsequently relevant HR processes and practices across Talent, Retention, Leadership development and so on. Experience in international ER and a fundamental level of depth in terms of commercial exposure will be essential, as is experience in the private equity and fund management industry. This role has the fantastic challenge of working with numerous stakeholders from partners, suppliers and external and internal colleagues whilst ensuring shared standards regarding the approach taken to sustainability and ‘doing good’ across the portfolio of assets. The role will require excellent project management and people skills and the ability to work within a multicultural, rapidly changing, growing environment where working with diverse stakeholders and scenarios will be key.
The individual we seek will have a strong track record of success in building leadership teams providing HR support around due diligence, acquisitions and integrations on an international basis, preferably having lived and worked across more than one country but certainly having held a global remit. Substantial change or transformation experience, along with commercial acumen, is essential. We are looking for a very experienced HR leader with solid and recent exposure to the Private Equity investment management environment. You could be in the Netherlands now or open to relocating to the Netherlands.
