A key need has arisen for a dynamic VP of HR to lead HR strategy and efforts for the North America region. Our client has been in business for over 30 years and is poised for significant success. With the belief that people are the key factor to the overall success of the business, our client is committed to attracting, hiring and retaining the best talent available and is looking to bring in a VP of HR who can lead the charge.
We are looking for an experienced individual who brings a well rounded and in depth understanding of how to align the business goals and objectives with employees and management. The successful VP of HR will act as an employee champion and change agent. This is a strategic position within the organization where driving the HR people strategy is critical. Working directly for the President and across the organization, the VP of HR will have access and influence at every level, from the manufacturing employee base to executive leadership. Collaboration with team leaders to manage human resources, including talent acquisition, talent management, growth and culture will be key. They will also drive internal PR to advance internal company communication and partner closely with the management team and other leads to ensure continued cultivation of culture consistent with the company’s core value and mission. We are seeking an established HR leader with a minimum of 15 years of experience. Specific domain knowledge of talent strategies, compliance in benefits, organizational development, labor laws and recruiting is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary in this role as is a proven track record of success. The individual will have the ability to work as a team member but also have the skills to work independently to reach objectives. A Bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree is preferred. Our client is not looking to offer relocation assistance at this time so must be local to Charlotte, NC.
