Our client is a family-owned enterprise, originating from Europe and specialising in the manufacturing sector. They have a strong presence in China, employing over 1,400 individuals across various functions including manufacturing, R&D, sales, and regional office operations. This company is a leading player in its domain, demonstrating its expertise and market influence through its comprehensive operations in China.

The Role

This role will report directly to the CFO & Vice GM and will have a dotted line to the HR Director of Operations Global. The China HR Director has a team of over 15 individuals, including talent acquisition for both white and blue-collar positions, talent managers, three HRBPs, and other supporting functions. From the HR management perspective, Compensation and Benefits as well as Learning and Development programs are locally empowered. Additionally, the China organisation benefits from global HQ resources such as performance programs, Talent Management, and Success Factors.  

The Individual

The company is seeking a seasoned HR leader capable of elevating the HR focus to the next level. The ideal candidate should possess strong networking skills, adept project management abilities, and a strategic mindset. Key areas of focus will include Talent Management, Sales Incentive Plans, and HR modernisation, covering the needs of various departments including the site, engineering hub, and sales organisation.
