This mission driven organization continues to see tremendous demand for its services and as a result is focused on continuing to build a world class HR function to support the business. To lead this journey, it is seeking an energetic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to build and implement a global Human Resources strategy that reflects and enhances the overarching strategy of the organization. This role will be based in Seattle, WA.
A key member of the Executive Leadership team, the CHRO provides human capital leadership to align the organization’s strategic priorities with the necessary people capabilities. As a trusted advisor and coach to the CEO and the Executive Leadership team, the CHRO will lead significant change within the HR function. An important focus will be on creating and solidifying process, accountabilities and operational efficiencies across the function. The CHRO will achieve this by establishing key metrics and success measures and providing leadership to the team, driving excellence, performance, and a spirit of continuous learning and improvement from the front. Specifically, this position will be responsible for the success of all areas within HR, including talent management and acquisition, total rewards, diversity, equity and inclusion, and organizational development. The CHRO will also work closely with the Total Rewards team to enhancing the organization’s C&B strategy and build operational capabilities for international mobility.
The individual we are seeking will have 3-8 years’ experience in a CHRO role for a mid-sized organization. S/he will have deep expertise and experience overseeing the full HR suite including Talent Management and Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Strategy and Analytics and HR Business Partners. In addition to all-around HR expertise, there is a preference for the candidate to demonstrate strength in Total Rewards including global mobility policies and programs. Qualified candidates will have robust experience across emerging and developed geographies, either through leading global teams and/or having taken on international assignments – preferably the latter. This individual will have practical exposure to planning and driving organizational transformation as it relates to operational efficiencies, people capabilities and culture change. S/he will have a reputation for driving HR best-practice in mid-sized organizations. This role will suit a hands-on people leader who holds her/his team accountable and thrives on driving capability at every turn.
