The Company

A leading multinational with operations across 52 countries and a workforce of over 40,000 has recently gone through the biggest transformation in their 120+ years history. The transformation was the first chapter in the company’s long-term strategy to position the business for further growth and ensure a continued competitive advantage within an international market. As a result of the transformation the company is now looking for a North America and Europe VP, Compensation & Benefits to be based in New Jersey, US.

The Role

Reporting into the Group General Manager Remuneration and Rewards and working closely with the global HR Business Partners and CoE’s, you will implement the remuneration and reward strategy across North America and Europe. In close partnership with country business leads you will develop and recommend policies that will improve the overall global alignment of the Group Remuneration & Reward strategy ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness. You will assist in the development and implementation of performance and remuneration frameworks, lead the annual reward cycle and manage effective relationships with external vendors.  

The Individual

To be considered you will be an experienced Compensation & Benefits professional with a proven background within a multinational matrixed environment. Knowledge of current U.S. taxation laws will be essential, and familiarity with issues impacting international remuneration is high desired. Above all, you will have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with people across all levels and cultural backgrounds. This role would suit an individual who values contributing to a broader strategy while delivering practical and workable solutions on a daily basis.
