Our client is a European manufacturing company with a long and successful history in Japan. As an organization, they have a presence in nearly 200 countries and conduct business across multiple industries. They have close to 1,000 employees in Japan with several facilities across the country. The company is always expanding though strategic mergers and acquisitions and has a particular focus on Asia, including Japan.
You will be a partner and enabler of local function units in the area of organization and people, to facilitate respective business leaders in achieving the business objectives. It will be essential to translate business strategies into HR initiatives and provide consultation for organizational development. You will be identifying and introducing best practices in HR to enhance performance of people and the organization with an emphasis on succession planning, engagement, talent development and holistic change management.
You will have 5-10 years of HR generalist experience in a multi-national company, with strong analytical and problem solving skills along with having excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, it will be important to have experience in providing leadership on an ad hoc basis and consistent demonstration of stakeholder management.
