The Company

Our client is a classic European luxury brand that’s part of a global luxury conglomerate, ranked among the top five in the world. With a European HQ and a conglomerate of global luxury brands, the organization has seen healthy growth for the FY17-18 year. The global head office is driving organizational changes to enhance the Americas operations, and is seeking an experienced HR leader to partner with the business to support future growth for the North American business. This role will be based in Los Angeles, California.

The Role

Reporting into the VP of HR for North America, this Director of HR will be responsible for the full HR function to a multi-site workforce located across the US. You will be responsible for delivering on the full suite of strategic HR leadership activities, including employee relations, talent management, and organizational change and effectiveness. As a partner to the business, the individual will ensure the people strategy is in keeping with the business strategy and is aligned to the local challenges in relation to the overall regional objectives. Other areas of responsibilities will include the implementation of organizational changes, taking a lead on change management and transformation initiatives.  

The Individual

The successful applicant will be an experienced HRBP who can demonstrate an ability to leverage relationships with an executive leadership team. There is a strong preference for this individual to have prior experience working within a European business and in a regional role as an extension of the global head office. A track record of working within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment will be critical, together with the ability to work autonomously. Above all, this role requires an action oriented individual who can execute with energy and enthusiasm.
