Our client is a global technology solutions provider going through some positive leadership changes while facing its industry’s competitive challenges. As such, the organization has set its strategy to harmonize its global processes and operations. To continue this strategy, and to bring to bear the best talent in the market, the company looking to hire an experienced Global Talent Acquisition Director to lead global talent acquisition efforts across all business groups and sites. This role is located in San Jose, however there is flexibility in supporting a commuting arrangement for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Senior Director Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, this individual will drive hiring strategies across all lines of business. He/She will assess the current efficiencies of the team and the preexisting RPO model and build a strategic plan to deliver against the needs of the business. Key responsibilities will include implementing core systems, processes and measurements across the recruiting platform and improving communication channels between key stakeholders to ensure awareness of talent gaps and pipelines. He/She will also support senior management with global projects and play a key role in leadership recruitment. To be successful in this role, you will need to embrace change and build credibility with business leaders and functional experts. This role suits an experienced hardware technology recruiter who understands the challenges of identifying and accessing different global talent pools.
To succeed, the individual will need to possess strong leadership and people management across global geographies to drive large scale optimization changes across the talent acquisition function. Experience working with executive recruitment is an advantage.. The right individual needs to be able to adapt to a changing environment, and switch gears effectively between process and strategy. He/She must come to the table with practical solutions to talent challenges and customize approaches for different labor markets. Previous experience recruiting in the hardware technology space is preferred.
