The Company

Headquartered in Nagoya with operations all across Japan. Over 1,000 employees in Japan and growing rapidly.

The Role

The Human Resources Director will partner with the divisional director and leadership team to set and drive the strategy, master plan and tactical plan for the Japan operations ensuring a strong framework is in place to support the business performance. The HR Director will create and drive the HR strategy and plans for the Japan operations to deliver both short and long-term goals and provide strong leadership and direction for the HR function. This role manages a team of 7-8 HR staff.  

The Individual

This individual needs to believe they are a true partner to the business, be actively engaged and hands on with the staff and the customers, and able to operate successfully in a highly matrixed environment. This individual will help take operations in Japan to the next level of growth and be a key individual in the growth of the business across Japan. Someone with strong English ability and experience managing an HR team of 5+ HR members is required.
