An organisation with an exciting growth story, this a global business partnering with some of the world’s most well-known technology brands. The Headquarters are in Geneva, with significant presence in Europe, the Americas and Asia. They have focus on growth markets such as mobile technology, automotive and energy, and are known for their innovation, capability and ongoing focus on quality. The business has continued to evolve over recent years with a huge focus on growth currently with circa 50,000 employees. This role exists due to an internal move and is a key to the people and business transformation agenda.
The position will ideally be based in Geneva, Switzerland and will have global responsibility leading the go-to-market strategy working in line with the global business VP who is also based in Geneva. Functionally, this role will report into the CHRO and will act as a right-hand person to various stakeholders and so will also naturally play a key part in the HR leadership team. The focus will be on transforming and creating a sustainable and high growth go-to-market business. It is a broad role needing smart leadership aligning the business requirements in creating a vision to advance the People agenda to the next stage. There will also be a strong need to initiate and manage change while overcoming the numerous challenges of the high growth environment.
You will be a business leader with strong business acumen who takes full responsibility from the perspective that HR is integral in business success. Ideally you will have a deep international HR profile with some experience in the Hi-Tech manufacturing or Semi-conductor environment with a proven track record in high growth businesses, you could have product development and technology industry exposure – bringing both expertise and thought leadership to the table. Experience in managing international markets including having lived in more than one region is very much preferred. You will need to act with gravitas, be happy to travel globally when need be and operate in a hugely competitive and fast changing environment.
