We are delighted to once again be working with a key client in the blended technology and services space. Headquartered in the Atlanta area, it is a mid-cap public company going through a period of growth and transformation aimed at elevating capability across the enterprise globally. The CHRO has successfully upgraded many aspects of the HRLT with the next phase to bring more expertise across the Centers of Excellence, in particular Talent Acquisition and Rewards. We are helping to find a new Head of Total Rewards who will report to the CHRO and provide strategic direction and leadership for Compensation, Benefits and Mobility across a globally dispersed population.
The Head of Total Rewards will drive improvements in capability and organizational efficiency across a lean but dynamic rewards team. Alongside the CHRO, s/he will design and execute the strategic plan with ultimate responsibility to ensure a more holistic and global approach to rewards, embracing the broader HR and business strategy at the center while appreciating and respecting local geographic, business and cultural nuances. Key duties include harmonizing aspects of broad-based compensation, bringing innovation to the Executive Compensation plan design and acting as a trusted advisor on Executive rewards matters to senior leadership across the organization. The individual will also prepare and present materials to the Board Compensation Committee and oversee global Benefits and Mobility programs. With a broader total rewards strategy to enhance performance, talent attraction, talent development and engagement, this role will also seek to create a more integrated approach and culture.
Candidates for this role would ideally have a robust knowledge of end-to-end total rewards strategies at a global level to include broad-based compensation, executive rewards, benefits and mobility. Experience working within an organization which ties rewards to talent strategies will be a distinct advantage. Ideally s/he will have a blend of experience in small to mid-cap companies where teams are lean, in addition to being exposed to best practice in perhaps a larger more complex global multinational. A blended approach to both strategic and tactical work on the more technical aspects rewards is essential and affinity for data-driven approaches will be important, as will strong people manager skills.
