Our client is a market leader in the healthcare industry with over 900 employees in the UK including manufacturing, commercial and development talent. The Head of HR for the UK will sit on the executive team and play a critical role as the business drives continued growth.
The Head of HR role will be based in the Midlands with low travel demands and supported by a team of 10 direct reports, with freedom to refocus as needed. Sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, the individual will report directly to the CEO for the UK, as well as work closely with the Global CHRO. High priorities for the HR agenda include talent development, succession planning and greater levels of sophistication in the function of the business, enabling it to evolve to the next level of growth.
You will be a senior HR leader who has led organisations through rapid growth and transformation. This role would suit someone who prefers lower travel, proximity to the business and has the depth of experience to comfortably lead a significant shift in the HR function. A track record within large global companies combined with smaller company experience would be preferred. Although the role is based in the Midlands, there is the option to commute and/or work a compressed four day week if needed.
