The Role

The Head of People takes ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, compensation reviews, benefit programs planning and administration, disciplinary action, and change management. To perform well in this role, experience as a HR Manager, or other senior roles in the HR team, and knowledge around all legal requirements are required. The position will oversee an HR team of 4-5 people.  

The Individual

The ideal candidate for this position should have professional experience in various HR functions, such as organisation development, hiring, compensation, performance management, and more. They should also have over 5 years of supervisory experience, knowledge of Japan’s labor laws, change management skills, excellent communication, and multicultural work experience. Fluency in Japanese and English is a plus, along with personal qualities like ethics, customer focus, leadership, adaptability, proactiveness, and a passion for the brand.
