Our client is a leading Japanese Electronic manufacturing company with a strong and growing global presence. The organisation has around 8,000 staff in Japan and 14,000 globally. The HR Business Partner role contributes to company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organisation development strategies in support of the business objectives. Performing HR related duties at the professional level while supporting more than one functional group this position will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management consultation; and talent management consultation. Additional responsibilities may include organisational design; employee development initiatives and training. In collaboration with the senior management team the HRBP will also shape and align HR BU/Function strategies and priorities with changing needs to help shape the appropriate culture. It will diagnose and provide appropriate interventions to optimise business performance to execute against strategy goals generally at the BU/Function leadership level.
The successful individual will have extensive strategic business partner experience and ability to lead HRBPs to represent BU/Function. The position holder is expected to take an outstanding leadership role. You will possess proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles and practice of HR including employment law and compliance requirements. An ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues is essential. Multi-site location client support experience a plus.
