The Role

The HR Director, Japan is a hybrid of HR Business Partnering and HR leadership. The main objective of this role is to enhance and implement HR practices and processes across the region and undertake additional project responsibilities. The HR Partner will work closely with the Japanese and other assigned client groups and collaborate with the leadership team on various critical business and organisational issues. They must demonstrate strong business acumen and functional knowledge of all aspects of human resource management. The individual in this role will also be responsible for designing and executing diverse HR projects.  

The Individual

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is resilient, business and people-focused, and has a strong curiosity to find talent solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong consulting style to support and coach teams and leaders as they grow their organisation. It is essential to have a strong HR generalist background, preferably across multiple countries, along with a passion for the biotech and/or healthcare industries. The candidate should have a proactive and solution-oriented approach, and maturity to ensure credibility as an HR business partner and project leader.
