The Role

The Director HRBP Japan is a hybrid role comprising of HR Business Partnering and HR leadership to implementing and improving HR practices and processes across the regions as well as taking on additional project responsibilities. This role will act as the HR Partner for the Japanese and other client groups as assigned, collaborating closely with the leadership team on a range of critical business and organisational issues. This position must demonstrate a strong business acumen as well as functional knowledge of all aspects of human resource management. As an HR leader, this individual will be responsible for the design and execution of diverse HR projects.  

The Individual

The individual for this position should be an experienced, resilient, people and business focused HR talent. It will be someone who brings a sense of curiosity which will enable talent solutions and a strong consulting style in terms of coaching and supporting teams and leaders as they grow the organisation. Strong HR generalist experience is essential, preferably across multiple countries together with a strong passion for the biotech industry. A proactive solution-oriented style and maturity will ensure credibility as an HR Business Partner and project leader.
