The Role
The Head of Human Resources plays a vital role in the leadership team, driving the achievement of the strategic plan and leveraging the workforce for results. The People function collaborates positively with Japan business leaders to shape the company culture and enhance employee engagement. The engaged and supportive leadership team is genuinely committed to the employee experience. As part of organisational development, the Head of Human Resources will establish the necessary roles, capabilities, and culture to execute their ambitious strategy, while developing strategies to enhance market contribution and performance.
The Individual
As a trusted partner to the President of Japan and the Japan Leadership Team, this role will advocate for the people agenda, provide support, coaching, and challenge to foster a high-performance culture. Must be able to collaborate in business discussions, strategic planning, and challenges. Lead organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and capability assessment for growth. Integrate people strategies into business plans and address key people risks. Identify change opportunities, plan and execute with business leaders. Drive effective organisation establishment and expansion initiatives. Coach and influence senior leadership, anticipating business needs and developing talent.
