Our client is a leading Japanese Electronic manufacturing company with a strong and growing global presence, with around 8,000 staff in Japan and nearly 14,000 globally. The Role
As a key member of the Global Total Rewards leadership team, this position will report to a local Total Rewards Director. The Global Total Rewards Group Lead will contribute to the growth of the organisation through leading the Total Rewards competitiveness in the company globally. This position is expected to lead and operate the current Rewards and Performance management related policies in Japan and lead to improve these across the group based on the understanding of the challenges and needs from all stakeholders in each country. It will need to collaborate with HRBP and HR teams of each subsidiary and other stakeholders including top management. Key requirements are to plan the design or improvement of the Rewards, Benefits and performance management related policies and any related actions to solve any issues with support of supervisors. To lead all related processes including Promotions, Bonus payments, performance setting/appraisal executions and to monitor and align with group governance for all processes in overseas subsidiaries.
The Individual
We are looking for someone with solid knowledge of Total Rewards related areas such as Job analysis/evaluations and Compensation setting under job-based grading systems. You should also have best practice knowledge of performance management. You will need strong communications and consultation skills to communicate locally and to overseas stakeholders. Ideally, you will have over 5 years’ experience with some Global HR C&B experience in a global company or Japanese companies with global subsidiaries.
