The Company

Our client is a prominent manufacturing company with a global presence, headquartered in North America. They specialise in producing components primarily used in the automotive industry and have several manufacturing sites across Japan. The role will be based in the Osaka headquarters.

The Role

Managing a small team, the Division Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for providing all HR Services (strategic and administrative) for the operations in Japan, including the head office functions and multiple manufacturing sites.  

The Individual

The successful candidate will possess at least ten years of broad HR experience, of which five will be in a senior/leadership role. Experience in – and a passion for – the manufacturing sector is essential. The individual should have exceptional communication skills in Japanese and English and experience in both Japanese and international organisations. The ability to work in a global matrix reporting structure is a must.
