The Role
The Human Resources Manager Corporate Functions leads a team responsible for a variety of HR topics and projects for corporate functions including the design and implementation of HR strategy for the area, operational HR topics, leadership/support of cross-country projects in Europe and Asia such as talent and diversity management and recruiting and onboarding for key roles.
The Individual
The successful candidate should have a track record in HR management and business partnering, verifiable results of the development of modern HR processes and structures in a mid- or larger-size international, ideally industrial, environment as well as experience in the implementation of HR IT systems and change management. Key competencies sought after are a change management mindset and an independent and proactive attitude with the ability to see needed improvements, constructively address them, drive change, monitor results, adjust, involve relevant stakeholders, hold people accountable, convince and positively influence across the organisation. Hands-on mentality is a must, with the energy and drive to roll up the sleeves, a collaborative style and attitude, ability to constructively partner with business and HR stakeholders with a strong drive and self-motivation. In addition, the candidate should have business acumen and, be entrepreneurial with a pragmatic attitude. Intercultural competencies, ability and affection to deal with different cultures. University education, ideally with business, HR, psychology or education specialisation, and fluency in English and German.
