Our client is a leading online technology business that has achieved massive growth to become a major international player in the e-commerce market. Their strategy is to continue this strong and sustainable growth to further increase their revenue and market share.
The Director, People and Organisation will operate in a hypergrowth area of the business which operates as a separate part of the main entity. It will very quickly scale up to become a significant part of the overall operation. As part of the senior leadership team the role will be instrumental in driving a growth agenda. The primary goal is to support the senior leadership team build a new organisation and continuously help find, grow, and retain the best talent available.
You will be able to play both a hands-on and a strategic role providing end-to-end HR generalist support to drive business growth. You will also drive strategic priorities which include designing and developing the organisation, leading M & A activities, and sourcing talent to build and scale to enable the company’s growth plans. The successful candidate will have significant experience showcasing their leadership in developing organisational design and building leadership talent and culture. In addition, you will also have prior experience in a start-up, scale-up or a developing business.
