Our client is a major financial institution headquartered in Munich. They are a listed organisation that is growing and consistently profitable with a solid footprint globally. Already a complex organisation they are currently experiencing exciting transformation with a key emphasis on DE&I and sustainability across their businesses.

The Role

The Country Head of DE&I, Germany, will be the key driver of the DE&I and ESG initiatives for Germany while being part of the global DE&I subject matter expert team. Reporting to the Head of HR Germany, the Country Head of DE&I, Germany will be an integral member of the global DE&I expertise team, driving the DE&I agenda for all employees based in Germany, several thousand people who run the local and global businesses. This is an elevated role and a key contact for business on all DE&I and ESG projects, which are part of the very ambitious corporate agenda.  

The Individual

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 8 years’ solid track record in driving DE&I initiatives in a complex multinational organisation with a passion for these topics. They should be analytical and a strategic thinker who drives HR transformation and concepts. Someone who is driven by the impact of their work on the organisation is essential. German speaking skills at level B1/2 is required, as is familiarity with international context and cultural sensitivity.
