Our client is a leading manufacturer of packaging for pharmaceutical and related industries. They provide and implement unique solutions for customers around the globe, leveraging their innovation, research, and expertise in the industries. They are seeking a Human Resources Director to provide HR leadership and support for the manufacturing site in Staufen, with the potential to assume more responsibilities over additional sites upon demonstrated performance.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources, the role will be an integral member of the global HR Leadership Team and local Management Team. This position will manage a team of four and be responsible for delivery of all HR operational activities in Germany and Switzerland. The role will be charged with the implementation of global HR strategies and customised programs for Germany and Switzerland, providing business partnership and guidance to the Management team, managing labour relations activities, standardising the Compensation and Benefits practices and HR Analytics.
You will bring a minimum of 10 years’ hands-on HR experience with people management capability and a solid track record in collaborating in global teams, providing HR support, and providing Business Partnership to business managers in Germany. You should have extensive knowledge of German labour laws and experience with Works Councils. Manufacturing/site experience is essential. A strong familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably SAP HCM, SuccessFactors is a plus. Business fluency in German is required.
