The role of HR has evolved from one of a transactional nature to one that aligns itself with the business to help achieve organisational success. But to do this, it is critical that HR becomes adept at building relationships based on trust and credibility. HR must be able to influence business decisions for the greater good of the organisation–yet many HR teams struggle to achieve the necessary buy-in from the business they need to deliver the best solutions for the organisation.
